Ixia Qcheck 3.0.1.42 is a program to check your network. This program is able to check the network´s response time, throughput and streaming performance between two endpoints. You must install Qcheck on the computer you will use to run the console, and the Ixia Performance Endpoint that´s right for your Operating System in each one of the remote computers you should test. You can download the Windows XP endpoint at http://www.ixiacom.com/endpoint_library/6.70/windows/pewindows.exe. Then, you should enter the source and target IP adresses (e.g. 192.168.0.1), and then press the "Test" button. You will also be able to modify the iterations and data size for each check. The program will then test the response time and throughput for all the available protocols (TCP, UDP, SPX and IPX), streaming (for UDP and IPX) and traceroute (TCP and UDP). The results will be shown in the interface´s lower panel. If you press the "Details" button, the program will open an HTML page in your browser, full with the details for the value you´re checking. |
